12nd SPE Guest Lecture “Applied Production Optimization – Role of Field Engineers”

This time we invited a professional from Oil and Gas Industry to share and give explanation about Applied Production Optimization. Mr. Norbert Heitmann work as Stimulation Domain Manager in Schlumberger. In this guest lecture, He explained us that production optimizing is very important. He told us about trends of industry for upstream. Higher levels of drilling will be necessary to sustain and increase world oil and natural gas production. Drilling intensity and well complexity will continue to increase due to areas such as deepwater sub-salt and shale gas. Geo-steeered wells with complex geometris are the key to increased recovery and maximazing initial productions. Production optimization and increase of recovery factor will continue playing a major role.

This event is proved to be interesting as shown by large number of participants. This event was conducted successfully and should be continued in the future as a regular event.

  1. Hello this is somewhat of off topic but I was wondering if blogs use WYSIWYG editors or if you have to manually
code with HTML. I’m starting a blog soon but have no coding skills so I wanted to
get advice from someone with experience. Any help would be enormously appreciated!

  2. Howdy just wanted to give you a quick heads up and let
you know a few of the pictures aren’t loading properly.

I’m not sure why but I think its a linking issue.

I’ve tried it in two different browsers and both show the same results.
